Make sure you have your tumblr open in another tab.

Step 1 - Add “Stylish” to your Google Chrome header here https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/fjnbnpbmkenffdnngjfgmeleoegfcffe (It’s really easy and safe and takes like 2 seconds, and its free). Once it’s finished adding to your toolbar, you should see this icon:

 on the right corner of your screen.

Step 2 - Go here and pick out a background theme you want, you can search for certain keywords on the left http://userstyles.org/styles/browse/tumblr

Step 3 - When you’ve found the one you want, click on it an and click on the green “Install with Stylish” button.

Step 4 - You’re done! Easy, right?

If you don’t like your new tumblr background for some reason, or want to change it, just click on the “Stylish” icon and choose “disable”. That way it will still be stored for future use, but you can still change your current background. If you want to permanently delete that background from your Stylish, then hit “delete”.

This one is pretty awesome, but it no longer works.. those claiming to have it they do but it no longer works.

It used to be like this: 

highlight the word “block” on their ask before you reply, then click “view selection source” or for chrome sometimes it’ll be “inspect element”.

for the inspect element way it’ll have like “are you sure you want to block blahblahblah” and a couple lines under that it will say “IP:” with a bunch of numbers. once you get it you put it into this site:
